I found a interesiting IZAKAYA bar at EBISU, Tokyo.
It was like a cheap snack store of 1960's in JPN.

This signboard is written "chap snack bar"...　alcohol and snacks??

when I was a child, I bought many cheap snacks like this↓↓↓

Its' price is still too cheap now! almost snacks are 10-50 cents.

I heard in this bar, we can eat like this snacks as much as we want!
Next time, I'll try this bar

I think there are many nice Italian restaurant in Tokyo... Some is very expensive, some is not too expensive.
Almost all Japanese people like Italian food... but also there are many fake Italian food restaurant in JPN... arranged flavor that Japanese like...It's "Japanese Italian food".

3rd posting about "NABE" hotpot.
This time is TOMATO NABE.... Now TOMATO is very popular among young ladies in JPN, and a lot of tomato food restaurant opened around Tokyo in this year.

This restaurant treats not only NABE, we can eat also "yakiniku".

So there is a chimney for each table... in order not to spread smoke.
and they keep our jackets also not for catching the smell.

Here, "TOMATO NABE"...fist time to eat It was very nice!!

After NABE, we made risotto using this soup... put rice and some kind of cheese.
It was excellent!! very delicious!

Beside, there was a couple of Swedish traveller and enjoyed "YAKINIKU".

2nd posting about IZAYAKA...this time is at NAKA-MEGURO(near Meguro).

Old style IZAKAYA, I think... This IZAKAYA is not expensive.

When some dishes came...

We had to eat with holding dish... no where to put...

then the staff brought a chair and tray.

This is "ODEN:おでん"
Cooking toghether with soup, radish, devil's tougue, egg, thick fried tofu, and more.It's typical Japanese winter food, it makes be warm.

This is "YU-TOFU:湯豆腐"
This menu is also Japanese winter food... hot TOFU.

This is "stirfly of garlic sprout:にんにくの芽炒め"

I went to OKINAWA food restaurant at Meguro. OKINAWA is a most south island in JPN. There are some own culture.
and Many OKINAWA food restaurent are in Tokyo.

This is a OKINAWA seaweed, called "UMI-BUDOU".
"UMI:海" means sea, "BUDOU:ぶどう" means grapes. This is a typical OKINAWA food.

Sometime I go to this bar at Meguro.

Very small inside... but very comforable, especially after working..

This is a big ham block...that's 100,000YEN(around US$1,000), the staff said.

and also there was a big pear.
